The small breakfast they promise is just two cookies and cheapest coffee/juice you can find in supermarkets.

We stayed for 3 nights. The first night we were left alone, in the middle of nowhere, without any attendance and no possibility to eat. The third night we could only eat from 19.00h on. At day there was a constant annoying hard noise from the nearby museum (keep your windows very closed). Although there was WiFi, we were not allowed to use it. The towels and the room were not kept clean, the towels smelling dirty from the beginning. But we have to pay a lot of money, for what? They made a very clever use of our credit card. In all, a very disappointing visit, not characteristic of Canada.

I would probably be a bit less negative if we saw one of those animals but that did not happen.

I personnally feel like it is really overrated.

The staff is lovely and make you feel at home. We loved our dinner - simple and yet different from everything we've had this last week. I highly recommend the Auberge.

Nice place to stay, just find other place to eat, dinner was horrible.

Nevertheless when you pay 100$ per person to experience this observation, I expect really good chances to get to meet thosr animals.

First they tell you the activity is going to last 5 hours when it actually does last 2.5 hours. The 2.5 hours remaining is all about going to the right place and putting the canoos in the water. Dont think then that youre going for a very wild expedition cause the description they did is not representative.

Then lets talk about the % of chances to see mooses ! 80% in their description. I did the activity today, and to what the guide told us, this season is really bad compared to old ones. No mooses yesterday, not today, and the fact that this summer is often cold and rainy does not help.

I read comments and I saw some good comments about the activity.

Big trap tho, and when i see last comments, it confirms me those people just care about making easy, but not deserved money.

Good points that prevent me to give 1/5: the canooing was good even if we didnt see anything, the sunrise was good. And the guide André was cool.
